Grant Overview:
The Tennessee PTA Arts Enhancement Grant Program complements PTA’s long-standing commitment to quality arts education by providing funds to local PTA units and councils to establish or enhance arts programs. This grant is to be used for the National PTA Reflections, Tennessee PTA Citizenship Essay, Safety Poster Contest along with any other arts program Tennessee PTA may offer.
Funding Available:
Grants in the amount of $250.00 to be awarded for use towards the Tennessee PTA Arts Programs. To be considered for a grant, complete the grant application.
Project timeline:
Proposed program activities may take place from close of April 2024 through April 1, 2025. Grant reports are due thirty days after the end of the grant project or on May 1, 2025, whichever comes first.
Eligibility:
The applicant must be a PTA in good standing with the following items in compliance: Proof of 990 filed with the IRS, Audit Report filled with Tennessee PTA, membership dues paid, and current bylaws approved by Tennessee PTA. Completed applications must be submitted by deadline. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Grant Narrative:
On a separate sheet of paper describe how your program will strengthen family engagement. Describe how the program is aligned with the mission and purpose of PTA (250 words minimum)
Terms:
Grant funding must be spent from September 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. If an event will be held at a school, the applicant is responsible for ensuring that the school’s administration is supportive of the proposed program prior to the submission of this grant. Funds must only be used for activities proposed in this grant application. Any unused funds must be returned to Tennessee PTA no further than 30 days past the completion of the program or the due date of the Grant Report, whichever is earliest. Grant reports must be submitted on time. If they are not received on time, it may impact the grantee’s ability to receive future funding from Tennessee PTA.
