 The negotiated PTA rate is:  up to 4 people per room: Friday Night Room Rate –  $144 +taxes                                                                                                                                                                  Saturday Night Room Rate- $159 + taxes
                                                                                                      Resort fee $29.95 per night
(Thursday & Sunday discounted rates available, just ask when booking for the special rate) 

Reservation information: To book your reservations call the hotel directly at 1.877.325.WILD. Please identify yourself as part of the Tennessee Congress of Parents and Teachers Association (PTA).
Use this code- #PTA2024 to receive the special group rate.
To guarantee you receive our discounted rate, make your reservations by Wednesday, January 31, 2024. 

All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. (You may pay for your hotel expenses by using a PTA unit check upon check in. You can present your Tennessee Department of Revenue Certificate of Exemption to qualify for state-tax-exempt status. This does not exempt local taxes and other fees.)

In the event an individual guest wishes to cancel a reservation, they may do so if the request is received 72 Hours prior to the reservation arrival date, but it will cost you $ 30.00 to cancel. If cancel within the 72 hours the cost will be for one night room rate, charged to card reservation was made on.

Amenities: All guests will receive a wrist band to enter all water parks on the property including the indoor waterpark.  All guest may pre-register their check-in for use of amenities at noon on arrival date, room will be ready at 4pm and check out is at 10:30am, but you may continue to use our amenities upon checkout.

Bylaws Amendment One

Article IX: Duties of Officers, Section 6: Treasurer, Letter D. to remove the named officers who may disburse funds (President, President-elect, and/or Treasurer).

Amend Section 6 by striking “President, President-elect, and/or Treasurer.

The bylaw currently reads:
Disbursement of funds shall be by bonded officers only: President, President-elect, and/or Treasurer.  The funds of the Tennessee PTA shall be disbursed only in accordance with the budget approved by the Board of Directors or pursuant to an appropriation especially made by the Board of Directors.

Proposed Amendment would read: If the motion is adopted it would read:
Disbursement of funds shall be by bonded officers only. The funds of the Tennessee PTA shall be disbursed only in accordance with the budget approved by the Board of Directors or pursuant to an appropriation especially made by the Board of Directors.
