Message from the President
What a fantastic Convention! Our first face-to-face state convention since the 2019 convention in Memphis!
Thank you to the staff and principal at East Brainerd Elementary School for allowing TNPTA to hold a convention, annual meeting, and a student awards ceremony in different spaces at the school!
Thank you to our vendors and to our large sponsors: AIM Insurance and Apex.
We had great networking and connecting with leaders from across the state! We heard a great middle school jazz band and heard an inspirational speech at the awards dinner! We celebrated our student award winners and our outstanding individuals and our local unit awards!
We are connected—We are PTA!
Great workshops that covered many topics and trainings and a round table on leadership and finances allowed opportunities to learn and to share ideas.
We support each other—We are PTA!
We advocate for every child—not just our child—We are PTA!
Thank you to the awesome state board of directors who put in long hours to prepare for the convention, pulled everything together to have convention, and then packed everything up after convention. Awesome state board of directors!
Statewide Leadership Training begins in June 2022! Read more details in this newsletter. We offer leadership training in finances, advocacy, and more in different locations across the state. PTA membership matters, being connected and supported across the state matters, and helping our volunteers across the state matters.
